 Wolfgang Bruchner, Director
Wolfgang co-founded Cascoda with Bruno Johnson. An expert in communications device technology, Wolfgang has extensive experience in the design and management of complex mixed-signal ASIC products. Capable at system, through to transistor level design, Wolfgang understands architecture, process technology, device requirement, risk, and cost considerations for complex products. Wolfgang's experience stems from 13 years at Semtech and Acapella, and a further 4 years at ES2 in France. Wolfgang is a graduate of the Technical University of Munich (MSc equivalent). |
 Bruno Johnson, Director
Before co-founding Cascoda with Wolfgang Bruchner, Bruno had a leading role in the conceptualisation, design and development of mixed-signal standard products for human input devices (HID) and low-power sensing and measurement at Semtech. Bruno also has extensive experience with analogue design and wireless system-on-chip devices through his work with Acapella and Hitachi Microsystems Europe (now Renesas). Bruno holds an MSc from the University of Southampton.

 Arthur MacDougall, Design Consultant
Arthur is an expert in high frequency CMOS design. He has held positions in Nortel Network's IC design group in Harlow, Acapella and Phyworks, and has worked on high frequency communications products including clock and data recovery (CDR), phased-locked loop (PLL) and electronic dispersion compensation (EDC) functions at up to 10Gbps. Arthur holds an MEng from the University of Edinburgh. |
 Dr. Dominique Coué, Design Consultant
Dominique is Cascoda's high frequency design expert. In previous positions with Semtech and Acapella, Dominique specialised in CMOS RF design. His expertise covers the design and development of a range of high-speed, ultra-low jitter circuits and PLLs for synchronous telecommunications and low-power RF products. PHD educated, Dominique previously held teaching and research positions at the University of Plymouth.
